New Story Embraces BE CONNECTED Challenge Across Schools and Services

be connected challenge

Teams across New Story’s network of schools and services have embraced the BE CONNECTED Challenge, a four-week initiative aimed at strengthening connections and building a sense of community among our team members. This challenge brings together teams in friendly competition, encouraging creative activities that promote bonding, self-care, and workplace joy.

Throughout the challenge, teams are participating in activities that align with four core themes:

  • BE CONNECTED to YOU
  • BE CONNECTED to EACH OTHER
  • BE CONNECTED to YOUR COMMUNITY
  • BE CONNECTED to our CORE VALUES

From self-care days to positive affirmation boards, our teams are already making memories and building connections. Team members have been seen enjoying puzzles, playing team games, doing yoga, volunteering in the community together, and even going on field trips to bond outside of the workplace.

This month-long experience will culminate with teams submitting photos, stories, and rosters of their activities to earn puzzle pieces for each completed phase. At the end of the challenge, the puzzle pieces will form a visual representation of the shared journey toward stronger connections and a unified culture.

As we continue the BE CONNECTED Challenge over the next week, the relationships and support built during this month will carry on, reinforcing the community we all share and the purpose that unites us.
